Originally conceived by award winning artist Molly Crabapple, Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School originally began in New York City to bring illustrators, models, photographers, burlesque & drag artists, & musicians together for themed evenings of drawing, socializing, & celebrating creativity in all its forms.

Branches of the Anti-Art school started popping up all over the country including here in Pittsburgh, PA. Before we knew it my friends & I became featured artists attending events like Steel City Comicon, the Sprout Funds Hothouse Celebration, & fundraising events Ink & Paint & Ka-Blam to benefit Pittsburgh’s Toonseum.

I volunteered my skills to regularly promote many of the events by creating magazine ads, posters, t-shirts, & programs in my own stylized version of cartoon illustration. These are just a few of the many posters I created during my time affiliated with Dr. Sketchy.
